Prayer for Today

Most merciful Father, I thank Thee for making me able to kneel before Thee in prayer despite the impurity of my own heart. The sadness in me is too great to bear that it darkened all my thoughts. Desperation ate all of my soul and there was nothing left in me to lift up. I am now ashamed for my earlier behaviour. I am sorry Lord that I got too little faith. That I failed to look at the mighty works of Your hands just because adversity came my way.

Let Your will be done O Lord. I will praise Your name amidst these things which grieves me because in You I find true comfort. And only in You I can find peace. Thank You for being with me always. Thank You for all the people You've sent in my way today... especially for my bestfriend. She's also going through tough times and yet she was still able to lift up my weary soul. 

I thank You Lord and I give You praise for all that You gave and has taken away. Let us learn continuously. Let us learn the way to Your kingdom and make us worthy to be with You. I love You, Lord. Amen-
